2023 Partner Survey – Feedback

Introduction

Following our rebrand from Kent Sport to Active Kent & Medway back in 2022, the launch of our new website plus the launch of Move Together, the new four-year strategy for sport and physical activity across Kent and Medway, in the summer of 2023, we invited local partners and organisations to complete our 2023 Partner Survey.

The aim of the survey was to help us review and improve our offer, presence, brand and resources.  We asked partners to tell us what they thought about our relationship; our vision: to get more people, more active, more often; our mission: to change people’s lives through sport and physical activity; our purpose: to tackle inactivity and inequalities; our impact; and our communications.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the partners who completed the survey. The following short film captures some of the feedback that we received:

Feedback on: Our Impact

We asked partners about working together and what’s gone well in the last 12 months:

You supported our fundraising efforts, helped us attract new participants, helped us secure funding from other sources, and provided us with recognition for the work we do within our community.

An open and honest working relationships means that we can tackle challenges head-on and together.

Always being available for any advice and guidance, and generally being invested and interested in the programmes provided through the funding.

The information you provide, the opportunities for CPD, promotion support and the very good communication when working together.

I have felt encouraged and supported to take my initiative forward. You have been clear about how you can and can't support which has helped me make a decision based on a degree of certainty.

We asked partners about how we can improve on working together?

Provide networking opportunities for organisations working in the same area to support collaboration and develop greater impact.

Support spreading the news in local communities who do not have an access or desire to look at resources online.

Continue to work collaboratively where possible, and continue to explore opportunities to develop partnership working on programmes and projects.
