PASS – Bikeability Instructor (Maidstone area)

PASS (Physical Activity & Sports Specialists) are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join their team as Bikeability Cycling Instructors for schools mainly across Maidstone and the local area. Bikeability is a cycle training program, equipping children with practical skills and knowledge to confidently navigate cycling on the road. Full training offered to non-qualified instructors.

Golf Foundation – Regional Development Officer (South East)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Golf Foundation team of Regional Development Officers and coordinate Golf Foundation programmes in the South East region of England (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Greater London, Hampshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Sussex & Channel Islands). The Officer will work closely with PGA Coaches and officials/volunteers in golf clubs, and in partnership with officers from England Golf, to help more young people ‘Start and Stay’ in the sport. In addition, the successful candidate will work with a variety of national and local partners such as Street Games, Active Partnerships, youth organisations and schools to help more young people enjoy the benefits of golf.

Work Experience / Placement

Active Kent & Medway receives many requests from people looking to undertake work experience or placements within the service.

Any enquiries for work placements must go throughKent County Council, where you will find details of the types of placements which can be offered and the application form.

We also suggest that those looking for work experience get in touch with the Sports Development unit in their local area, who may be able to offer opportunities. It is important to note that work experience cannot be guaranteed.
