In our latest round of funding applications, Active Kent & Medway has awarded a total of £4,500 grant aid to 34 young sports performers across the county. The young performers represent 14 different sports, including Artistic Roller Skating, Artistic Swimming, Athletics, Badminton, Gymnastics, Korfball, Hockey, Modern Pentathlon, Pool, Roller Hockey, Swimming, Tennis, Trampolining and Triathlon. The individual grants will support the FANS members with equipment costs as well as travel and accommodation to National, European and World championships.

“Thank you, that’s fantastic news. The grant will cover this month’s invoice for the upcoming training trip to Portugal which is a real help.” Ben, Roller Hockey

“This is great news. Many thanks for helping me on my journey of playing for England.” Kavin, Badminton
