This is a senior role driving our mission to get more people, more active, more often. You’ll steer our Children and Young People (CYP) and family‑focused work, including flagship programmes focused on place and our innovative Everyday Active Schools programme. You will also be expected to manage a small talented, purpose‑driven team and act as Deputy Safeguarding Lead. You’ll influence leaders across education, health and children’s services to embed physical activity in strategies and delivery, creating positive, inclusive experiences that reach the least active. We’re seeking a strategic people‑leader with a strong track record in system change and outstanding partnership skills, and insight‑led decision‑making aligned to national and local Sport and Physical Activity strategy.
