Ellie is 7 years old and started baton twirling when she was 5 years old. Ellie started twirling under Folkestone Twirlstars and has recently moved to train under Artistic Twirlers.
What are your sporting achievements to date?
Ellie has competed in 2 national competitions so far and has been to a number of other competitions. She has been a national champion two years in a row, placing 1st in her individual events. Ellie has overcome her confidence and has really flourished since getting into the sport. We are excited to see what comes next with her journey!
How has the FANS scheme helped you reach where you are now?
The scheme, plus the Small Grant for FANS members in full time education, has supported Ellie by covering the costs for training sessions, batons and competition fees.
What are your hopes and dreams for the future?
Ellie is still training and upskilling and she hopes to be in more competitions soon. We would recommend FANS as it has really helped us afford the costs that come with the sport.
