Empowering PE Leads to Turn Movement into Meaningful Learning
This hands-on workshop is designed specifically for Primary PE Leads who want to maximise the impact of physical activity beyond PE lessons. Delegates will discuss how to design active, inclusive and purposeful playground zones, equipment ideas and organisation, safety considerations and effective approaches to developing or refining a whole-school play policy.
Understanding Pupil’s Barriers and Motivations

Implementing Ultimate Frisbee & Frisbee Golf into the Primary PE Curriculum
Ultimate Frisbee is a small-sided invasion game which promotes teamwork, collaboration and tactical play. The game is unique in that it is self-governing with no referees, therefore providing the opportunity to teach values of fair play, self-regulation, inclusivity and mutual respect. Frisbee golf can be played individually or in teams but encourages children to play autonomously, think strategically and enjoy the outdoors. The workshop will be theoretical, making links with the National Curriculum and sharing ideas for delivery. Delegates will also participate in games practically outside to experience possible means of application in a learning space typical of a school setting. Planning and resources will be shared to aid further implementation.
Building Well Schools: Prioritising Health & Whole-School Wellbeing
Discover how the Youth Sport Trust’s Well Schools programme can transform your school into a community where wellbeing is at the heart of learning. This workshop will explore practical strategies to embed physical activity as a driver for positive mental health, resilience, and engagement across the whole school. Learn how to create an environment that supports both staff and pupils, fostering a culture where everyone can thrive.
Marketplace Exploration
Delegates will benefit from dedicated time to explore the conference marketplace, engage directly with exhibitors, and discover a range of products and services available to their schools. It’s an opportunity to network, gather ideas, and gain insights that can support and enhance their school provision.
