This September, our Sport Welfare Officers are heading out across Kent and Medway to meet clubs and communities face to face. For one week, Jimmy and Rachel will be visiting local venues including leisure centres and sports facilities, offering informal drop-in sessions for anyone involved in sport and physical activity.
Whether you’re a club welfare officer, coach, volunteer, committee member, centre staff, facility partner, community group leader or participant, Jimmy and Rachel would love you to come and say hello.
Sport Welfare Officers are here to support your club or organisation. Their role is to provide local, practical support to help clubs create safe and positive environments for everyone taking part. They can offer advice and guidance on safeguarding and welfare, help club welfare officers understand their responsibilities, signpost you to the right training, resources and support and help develop and strengthen good safeguarding practice.

Come and say hello and enter our prize draw
We’d love you to stop by and connect with the Sport Welfare team while they’re in your area. Anyone who comes along and shares their club or organisation details will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 10 A-frame boards to display your Club Welfare Officer information at club sessions and events. This is a simple way to strengthen visibility of welfare support within your club and promote safe, welcoming environments for your members.
We look forward to seeing you
